When he served as TriMet’s agency architect, Bob played a key role in shaping Portland’s landscape, overseeing the architectural design of the city’s iconic Tilikum Crossing Bridge—now a beloved landmark known for its elegance and innovation.

Today, Bob brings that same eye for structure, balance, and beauty to his work as a self-taught watercolor artist. His paintings pay tribute to Oregon’s most recognizable bridges and treasured locations, capturing their character with both precision and warmth. Most recently, he has turned his focus to a new series inspired by the serene beauty of the Portland Japanese Garden.
